Lessons from 13,000 Feet: Stories of Adventure, Risk and Survival in the High Alpine

Pink Garter Theatre (map)

Help us kick off Tumblefest (brought to you by Tumbleweed Creative Arts) with an evening of stories from 6 local first responders and mountaineers who will pull back the curtain on incident response in the Tetons. Entertaining, thought-provoking, and perhaps healing, these stories should encourage open discussions about what it looks like when all doesn’t go according to plan in the mountains.

This event is $10 to attend (all proceeds support TCSAR!) but email maddie@tetoncountysar.org if this cost is in any way prohibitive to your attendance. Thanks to our friends at Rendezvu Gear + Guides for sponsoring this event, and to Jenny Lake Rangers and the Teton Climber’s Coalition for support!

Storytellers: Ashley Didion (TCSAR), AJ Wheeler (TCSAR), Nick Armitage (Jenny Lake Ranger), George Montopoli (Jenny Lake Ranger), Tami Razinger (rescuee), Jesse Stover (rescuee), Dan Wenker (rescuee)

Doors Open: 6pm; stories start @ 6:30

Please note: This event is alcohol-free! Mocktails and NA refreshments will be provided thanks to Tumbleweed Creative.
