Join Jackson Hole Outdoor Leadership Institute, Backcountry Zero and Teton County Search and Rescue for a FREE Backcountry Splitboarding Awareness Workshop on Tuesday, November 14th from 6 - 8pm at the TCSAR Hangar.

Topics we'll discuss:
• Taking the next step safely (from resort to backcountry)
• Gear talk: equipment list, rescue gear, pros and cons
• Gathering relevant data: weather resources, avalanche observations, snowpack data, terrain evaluation
• Human factors: leadership/group roles, choosing your partners, social media influence
• Debriefing a day in the backcountry

Pre-registration is required. This event is free but a $5 donation to TCSAR is encouraged.
